Lithuanian MP Algimantas Salamakinas visits Radviliškis facilities of UAB Juodeliai
We are delighted that the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai is both in the press and in the focus of high-ranking officials. On 7 February this year, the Radviliškis unit was visited by Algimantas Salamakinas, member of the Lithuanian Seimas and chairman of the Seimas Committee on Environmental Protection. The mayor and other representatives of Radviliškis District Municipality also attended.
Mr Salamakinas visited the Radviliškis facilities, which are now being completed, and watched the manufacturing process of a trial product run. The factory contains the most modern equipment in the Baltics and Poland and will enable the company to manufacture products with non-standard dimensions.
Andrius Zimnickas, director general of UAB Juodeliai, introduced the facilities to the guests, familiarised them with the opportunities provided by the equipment, and demonstrated operator workstations run by operators trained by German colleagues. The visit also involved a discussion about the purchase of raw materials, changes in the timber market, and export conditions.
Mr Zimnickas pointed out that the key objective for Q1 2014 is to start commercial production in the Radviliškis facilities and thus satisfy the various needs of customers.
