UAB Juodeliai Has Established a Nomination in The Most Innovative Teachers’ Awards

The association of Knowledge Economy Forum, which the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai has been a member of since September 2016, has launched a brand new and unique initiative—The Most Innovative Teachers’ Awards—the goal of which is to contribute to the improvement of the prestige of the educator’s profession.

According to the director of Knowledge Economy Forum, Arminas Varanauskas, “In order to create a Lithuania based on knowledge and creativity, we must invest in education. And high-quality education starts with a teacher who is competent, self-confident, and publicly respected”, that is why the Knowledge Economy Forum association together with its partners has under taken this kind of initiative for the first time in Lithuania.

The title of The Most Innovative Teacher will be awarded to 6 teachers in Lithuania based on the criteria of the educator’s professionalism, educational leadership, continuous learning, and making use of technology in the process of education. Furthermore, 4 additional nominations will be awarded this year: The Most International School, The Head of the School of the Year, The Provider of Informal STEAM Education of the Year, and The Audience Teacher of the Year.

UAB Juodeliai is the founder of one of the main nominations—The Most Innovative Teacher of Arts and Technology. The winners will be announced at a solemn award ceremony that will take place on December 14, 2016.
