General data protection regulation
On the 25th of May, a new Common Data Protection Regulation was introduced in all the countries of the European Union, which establishes high standards for the protection of personal data throughout the European Union. You can find the provisions of the Regulation here.
The need for uniform and up-to-date legislation on the protection of personal data in all the Member States of the European Union was inspired by the objective of ensuring one of the fundamental human rights – the right to protection of personal data.
