15/11/2021 / UAB Juodeliai has launched a new website for purchasing round timber in Latvia
The website of the wood processing company www.juodeliaiperka.lt launched in the January of 2020 for purchasing round timber in Lithuania has an equivalent in Latvia starting the end of this summer: www.perkukoksni.lv.
The new website was created to avoid wood sales agents and provide the possibility to reach every Latvian forest owner directly. By avoiding agency fees, we can offer better purchase prices to forest owners. The prices of UAB Juodeliai are publicly accessible 24/7. Anyone interested in selling round timber can contact the company directly in the most convenient way: by filling a form, sending an e-mail or calling.
From now on, Latvian forest owners will not have to worry about delivering their round timber to UAB Juodeliai divisions. The company will take them directly from the forest.
05/10/2021 / External maintenance audit of UAB Juodeliai information security management system successfully carried out
In 2018, the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai implemented an information security management system, which is in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard. On 20–22 September of this year, the third external maintenance audit was carried out by the company’s long-standing partner – the international certification company Bureau Veritas Lit.
The maintenance audit found that UAB Juodeliai properly assesses the information security risks and implements effective control measures to ensure confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information. The scope of certification includes the new production facility in Marijampolė, whose physical security systems are considered exceptionally high-level. No non-conformities with the requirements of the standard were identified during the audit.
13/09/2021 / UAB Juodeliai summer event in the seaside
Every year, employees of the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai come together in the company’s summer event to contemplate the works carried out within 6 months, conclude the results and draw inspiration for the rest of the year. This year is no exception.
The team gathered in the most beautiful part of Lithuania – Kuršių Nerija. Land sailing and paddleboarding competitions were organised with 6 teams participating. Those who couldn’t catch the wind with sails, used it on kites. History lovers had a great chance to take a walk in unique bunkers. The wonderful summer evening was concluded with a live concert.
Full of energy, positive emotions and unity, we will begin the autumn season with strength and determination. The greatest team brings the best results!
