31/05/2021 / UAB Juodeliai – the biggest sponsor of MO exhibition in Marijampolė
In order to engage more people in conversations about art and culture, as well as to maintain connections with Lithuanian cities and regions, MO Museum has decided to bring one of its most popular exhibitions to Marijampolė. Part of the exhibition “The Origin of Species: 1990s DNA” introducing the 1990s is open in Marijampolė Cultural Centre since 28 May of this year.
The exhibition is a place to find and discover well-known phenomena and to recognise the characters or types peculiar to that period. It is no coincidence that the 1990s style has been chosen – its popularity has resurfaced in the whole world. The importance of this decade for Lithuania does not only lie in fashion – it means the beginning of the period of restored independence.
The exhibition in Marijampolė also marks a new stage of partnership between MO museum and the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai. This friendship makes it possible to continue supporting MO Museum exhibitions in Marijampolė and provide the local community with a possibility to visit MO Museum.
UAB Juodeliai supported MO Museum’s 2019-2020 season – that is when the famous exhibition “The Origin of Species: 1990s DNA” was born. The company aims to contribute to the education of young people in Marijampolė and to promote employment, so we are glad that we can achieve this by bringing the best museum in Lithuania to the city, and to foster the initiative of making art accessible to everyone.

22/03/2021 / UAB Juodeliai FSC® Chain of Custody recertification audit result: amended certificate scope permitting to purchase FSC®-certified and controlled wood from Latvia
In March this year, the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai performed an FSC® Chain of Custody recertification audit. The audit was completed in 4 days (it took place on March 2 and March 15–17). This year, the FSC® Chain of Custody audit resulted in both, recertification and amendment of the certificate scope to purchase FSC®-certified and controlled wood from Latvia.
The aim of this audit was to assess UAB Juodeliai compliance in accordance with the requirements of the CoC (FSC-STD-40-004 V3), Controlled Wood (FSC-STD-40-005 V3-1) and Trademarks (FSC-STD-50-001 V2-0) standards. The annual audit was conducted by the long-term partner of the company, international certification organisation UAB NEPCon Lt.
12/01/2021 / UAB Juodeliai ends year 2020 with opening of new packaging elements plant
Preparatory work for a world-class packaging elements plant began in 2018. In September 2019, the construction of the world’s fastest production line for short packaging elements was officially started in Marijampolė Municipality by the symbolic burial of the capsule in November 2020, the first log has been cut.
The technological capacity of the new production facility of the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai is twice as high as that of the three currently operating production facilities of the company. It is expected that the company will manufacture over 500,000 m3 of products in the new facility and will process up to 1 million m3 of round wood.
All processes in the new plant are fully automated and standardised to match production speed and flexibility. The factory features an unrivalled cutting line.
Having implemented the investment project worth 50 million EUR, the company aims to become the second largest manufacturer of pallet elements in Europe.
