Periodic surveillance audit of management systems successfully carried out at UAB Juodeliai

On 2-3 September, UAB Juodeliai , one of the leading manufacturers of wooden pallet elements in Europe, underwent an external surveillance audit of its management systems (in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018).The objective of this audit is to assess the compliance of the integrated management system with the requirements of international standards on quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety, to identify potential areas for improvement and to assess the effectiveness of the management system.

The surveillance audit was carried out by UAB Juodeliai long-standing partner, the international certification company Bureau Veritas Lit. The following strengths of the quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety management system were identified: approach of the management, emphasis of the importance of client needs to all employees, staff competence and continuous improvement of the system. The audit found that the management system and its documentation are in full compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and that the organisation is showing progress towards achieving its key objectives.
