Scope of certificate changed during annual audit of FSC® Chain of Custody certification of UAB Juodeliai

The scope of the certificate was changed during the FSC Chain of Custody audit of UAB Juodeliai on 26, 27, 28 March and 2 April 2024. The company has been awarded a multi-site FSC certificate following the launch of the company's raw material warehouse in Latvia and the implementation of FSC standard FSC-STD-40-003 V2-1.

The audit was carried out by the company's long-term partner, the international certification organisation Preferred by Nature, which assessed the compliance of the activities of UAB Juodeliai with a total of four FSC Chain of Custody standards: FSC Chain of Custody (FSC-STD-40-004 V3-1), FSC Controlled Wood (FSC-STD-40-005 V3-1), Use of the FSC Trademark (FSC-STD-50-001 V2-1) and Multi-Site Certificate (FSC-STD-40-003 V2-1) standards.

The annual inspection, which included the inspection of the company’s units, raw material contractors working in the forest and non-certified outsourcers in Lithuania and Latvia, went smoothly. The audit did not reveal any material or non-material non-compliance. We are delighted with the results, which encourage us to improve and strive for even higher quality standards.
